Who We Are
Our mission: Rebuilding Together Seattle brings volunteers and communities together to help low income homeowners live in warmth, safety, and independence. Our vision: a safe and healthy home for every person. Rebuilding Together Seattle was founded in 1989, and formerly called Christmas in April. In November 2013, volunteers completed the 1000th project in organizational history. During the 2013-2014 fiscal year, RTS helped 140 families and nonprofit organizations in need of free program services.
What We Do
Rebuilding Together Seattle (RTS) provides free home repairs to low income homeowners. RTS serves the elderly, disabled, families with children, and veterans in need. RTS also helps nonprofit organizations in need of facility repairs. RTS is part of the national Rebuilding Together organization with over 160 affiliates across the country.
