Magnuson Environmental Stewardship Alliance

The Magnuson Environmental Stewardship Alliance educates and involves the community in stewardship of Warren G. Magnuson Park in Seattle, Washington. Our purpose includes enhancing the habitat for native plants and wildlife so that there is greater diversity and insuring that the park is a safe, aesthetically pleasing environment for residents and visitors.

We work at changing what had been a sterile and denuded air base into thriving habitat and a great park. To do that we remove invasive plants, plant and reforest areas, lead group events, obtain and administer grants, and serve on advisory teams and committees.
