Who We Are
M-POWER YOUTH is a community led partnership of professional and volunteer musicians. It seeks to transform the lives of youth by providing instructional time in music based on the successful program “El Sistema” (CBS-60 Minutes-April 17, 2008) in a welcoming and safe environment beyond their regular school day. The goal is to enable youth to expand their education, world view and feeling of self-worth in order to become productive members of the community.
What We Do
Provide academic or economic disadvantaged youth a path to becoming self-confident, productive citizens through participation in the arts.
