Who We Are
Santa Teresita Family Housing is a low-income permanent housing program for 26 families in West Seattle’s Delridge neighborhood. It is composed of 2-3 bedroom apartments that are linked with Seattle Housing Authority. This is a program run by Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington, which also receives grants from King County to offer services and support to the families within the Santa Teresita Community.
What We Do
With roughly 12 different countries represented at the property, our families include those from all walks of life. Santa Teresita families include those with disabilities, immigrants and refugees, single-adult families and more who were all once previously homeless. Roughly 75% of the families at Santa Teresita consist of single moms who are providing for their families and our family sizes range from two to six. We work with our parents to develop family stability and self-sufficiency. We help connect them with services in the greater Seattle area to assist them with provision, health and employment direction.
