Who We Are
Established by volunteers reclaiming unused public land in 1981, Eastlake P-Patch is now an established and vibrant community garden. It is associated with the help of the GROW Northwest, a 501(c)3 umbrella organization for regional p-patches and gardening.
What We Do
The Eastlake P-Patch is a community garden open to the public and gardened and managed by volunteers. It offers community residents of this dense urban area a venue for gardening, the grounds double as an intensively managed beautiful public park, and generates organic food for local foodbanks. It is overseen by the City of Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation, and is associated with the 501(c)3 GROWNorthwest.
