What We Do

Villa Esperanza Consejo Counseling and Referral Service made history in the Latino community of Washington State creating Villa Esperanza (Village of Hope). A housing program that counts with 23 two- and three-bedroom apartments to provide service-enriched transitional housing to Latina survivors of domestic violence and their children. Consejo owns the largest transitional housing for domestic violence survivors in Washington State. Our YVP Program targets high-risk youth afflicted by family and domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, child neglect, sexual abuse and violence from gang involvement. Currently, Consejo facilitates this grant as part of the Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative. Outpatient Mental Health Program At Consejo we strive to ensure our clients are in full control of every aspect of their lives. Our Outpatient Mental Health Program assists adult, adolescent, children, and families to identify concerns and problem areas in their lives that need change.
