Since it's founding in 1990, Child Care Resources improves all children's access to high quality early learning experiences by engaging with families, caregivers, and communities. Embedded in Child Care Resources' daily work is identifying and addressing racism so that all children thrive in their early learning environments. Our vision is for every child to have a great start in school and in life.

Child Care Resources improves all children’s access to high quality early learning experiences by engaging with and connecting families, caregivers, and communities. CCR operates a statewide referral center that helps families find and pay for child care, provides information on quality care and school readiness and delivers enhanced services for families who are homeless or have other special needs. We provide coaching, technical assistance and professional development for licensed and aspiring child care providers in King and Pierce Counties so they can improve the quality of their care for all children. And we advocate for the families and providers we serve, so their voice and unique challenges have presence and impact within our statewide early learning system.
