Who We Are
At Neighborcare Health, we believe that healing begins with respect, caring, and trust. We remain committed to providing all of our neighbors a health care home, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, insurance status, or immigration status. For 55years, Neighborcare Health has provided quality, affordable health care for those who face barriers to care. We serve nearly 60,000 patients each year, primarily low-income and uninsured families, immigrants, and those experiencing homelessness in 30 medical, dental and school-based sites. We ask everyone to pay what they can, but no one is turned away due to inability to pay.
We treat the whole person, providing primary medical and dental care, social work and counseling, pregnancy care and midwifery, health education, and nutrition services. We meet our patients where they are, geographically, culturally, physically, and emotionally. Our clinics are located in neighborhoods where health disparities are the greatest, and our providers, who speak over 40 languages and dialects, are as diverse as our patients.
