Native Plant Restoration Event at Seward Park

Calendar Happens On Jan 21, 2019
Time 10:00 am-Noon
Expired

Description

Join us at Seward Park Audubon for a day of helping our new native plantings with wood chip mulching and invasive plant weeding.  Native plant nuturing and removal of invasives is what helps keep our urban forests healthy and strong!

Wear footwear and clothing suitable for muddy, wet conditions. We will meet rain or shine. Work gloves will be provided. Bring a water bottle and we will have a water jug on site for refills.

Meet at Picnic Shelter #3 in UPPER Seward Park. After entering Seward Park and circling past the Audubon Center, continue north and take the Right fork up the hill. Take the first RH turn and enter the Picnic Shelter #3 parking area. Park, and look for the group at the picnic table area.
