HOSPICE ANIMAL ASSISTED THERAPY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Animal Assisted Therapy Volunteers are members of the EvergreenHealth Hospice Program who work under the supervision of the Coordinator - Hospice Volunteers. The EvergreenHealth Hospice Animal Assisted Therapy Program uses teams of registered therapy animals, trained volunteers and staff to offer gentle touch and compassionate care to Evergreen Hospice patients who are terminally ill and their families At least 18 years of age. Current membership in Pet Partners Program. Complete application, background check, training, placement interview, and orientation as required. Complete health clearanc.
