Volunteer Opportunity with Providence Elder Place
Providence Elder Place is an innovative program dedicated to helping older adults remain healthy and independent in the community for as long as possible. We are seeking volunteers to be companions and serve the elderly.
Details:
- Spanish-Speaking Volunteer Needed: We are seeking a Spanish-speaking volunteer for an elderly participant (over the age of 55) who is alert and oriented. The participant enjoys socializing and drinking coffee. This volunteer opportunity aims to help the participant achieve their 6-month goal of getting more involved in the community, especially through outdoor activities.
- Flexible Schedule: Give as little as an hour a week. Weekdays, weekends, afternoons—whatever works for you and your senior companion.
- No Prior Experience Required: Training and education provided.
- Bring a Buddy: You don’t have to do this alone.
