Volunteer Opportunity: Spiritual Companion for Church Visits

Are you someone who values faith, connection, and meaningful companionship? We’re seeking a compassionate volunteer to accompany a cognizant and personable participant to church.
What You’ll Do:
- Meet the participant at their adult family home
- Accompany them on a DART ride to and from church
- Provide friendly conversation and spiritual companionship
- Support a multi-hour outing (likely weekly, but flexible)
About the Participant:
- Communicates readily and enjoys conversation
- Manages his own personal care
- Deeply values his faith and church community
Ideal
Volunteer:
Reliable and patient
Comfortable with public transit (DART)
Respectful of spiritual and personal boundaries
Available for a few hours per visit
(weekly or biweekly)
