Looking for a meaningful way to spend time with your child while giving back to the community? Join us at Providence Elder place for a heartwarming volunteer experience that brings generations together.
What’s Involved?
You and your child can visit elderly participants who may not have regular
visitors. These companion visits are flexible and can be
scheduled on weekends, afternoons, or whenever the work is best for
your family.
What You Can Do:
- Play board games
- Enjoy friendly conversations
- Take walks together (as appropriate)
- Share smiles and stories
Why It Matters:
This experience helps children build compassion, empathy, and respect for
elders, while our elderly participants enjoy companionship and the joy of
youthful energy. It’s a beautiful exchange of wisdom and warmth.
