The Rainbow City Concert Band and Rainbow City Orchestra are two of the many ensembles in Rainbow City Performing Arts, a nonprofit with a mission of increasing equity and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people. Performing many styles of music, we focus on performing the music of marginalized composers and themes that uplift through diverse expression of music. On Sunday, March 9 we continue our series of performances at Benaroya Hall with Lights, Camera, Action.
JOB SUMMARY
As a Concert Usher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all concert attendees. You will assist with seating, provide information, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets and welcomes concert attendees.
Checks tickets and guide attendees to their seats.
Provides information about the event, venue, and facilities.
Assists with crowd control and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Addresses any questions or concerns from attendees.
Reports any issues or emergencies to the venue staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the venue layout and event details.
Ability to work well in a team.

Black pants and a white shirt unless otherwise designated.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work involves walking, talking, and hearing; using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
