Description

What is Dining Out For Life?

Dining Out For Life, presented by BECU, is a one-day, citywide event that brings together Seattle’s vibrant dining scene in support of people living with HIV and other serious illnesses. On this day, restaurants donate a percentage of their proceeds to Lifelong Health for All — funding critical services like medically tailored meals, housing support, and case management. It’s more than a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of care, community, and joyful resistance.

Volunteer as a Restaurant Ambassador:

  1. Day-Of Support (September 25th)

Be stationed at one of our participating restaurants and represent Lifelong during the event. You’ll engage with diners, share our mission, and encourage donations. Shifts are just a few hours, and we’re happy to work around your schedule.

A little about Lifelong: Lifelong was founded by volunteers in the '80s in response to the HIV/AIDS crisis, delivering meals to folks with HIV. Lifelong has expanded over the years and merged with Northwest AIDS Alliance and Evergreen Health, and we now serve clients with a range of chronic medical conditions including cancer, diabetes, and kidney disease, as well as folks with disabilities. We deliver medically tailored meals and culturally relevant grocery bags to people's homes in King and Snohomish counties, as well as providing aging and disability services, medical case management, and housing case management, among other services.
