Info Desk Greeters & Floaters help us set-up then welcome and direct vendors, presenters, volunteers, community tables, and participants to workshops & the job fair. You are super flexible and able to step in wherever needed for activities in Garfield HS.
Your volunteer lead may divide you into 2 different shift times - they will be in touch in early January with details.
Volunteers will:
- Help set-up and post directional signage for the participants attending various activities in Garfield's main building - and clean-up following the events.
- Welcome people to the building and help volunteers, job fair exhibitors and attendees, workshop presenters and attendees, and community tabling organizations find their way.
- Help anyone with special needs (such as guide people with visual impairment, or who need the elevator).
- Guide participants from classrooms and job fair to the rally area (gym) following workshop and fair completion.
- Help workshop monitors (assigned to each classroom) or other volunteers with any specific questions or needs.
