MLK Day - Sort Greeting Cards for Seniors (South Seattle: Beacon Hill)

Description

Help our nonprofit Full Life Care sort our supply of handmade greeting cards (collected from volunteers around the country) that will later be mailed and distributed to seniors, caregivers, and adults with disabilities for seasonal holidays and occasions throughout the year. 

Service tasks will include counting, sorting and categorizing cards by type, stuffing envelopes, and handwriting your own well wishes for our clients in blank cards.

Either Individual or Group participation is welcomed; Minimum age of 18 (unless accompanied by an adult group leader, parent, or guardian). 

Advance sign up and communication via email by 1/14 is required; Space is limited.

Note: This service project is behind-the-scenes, not including clients. If interested in direct client interaction with our seniors, caregivers, and/or adults with disabilities, refer to our additional volunteer opportunities.
