The purpose of doing Supermarket Saturday food drives is to receive much-needed donations of food for the FamilyWorks food bank. These events involve interacting with community members and handing out flyers indicating the types of canned food the Food Bank needs. We also receive food donations from shoppers. Location is at the Wallingford QFC: 1801 N 45th St, Seattle, WA 98103 No requirements. Children ages 5 and up are welcome with their families. Supermarket Saturday is usually the third Saturday of the month, 9am to 1 pm in one hour shifts.
