ABOUT: Washington Wilderness Coalition is the state lead for Washington's Great Outdoors Week, which includes the second annual celebration of our recreational opportunities on public lands. WWC is working as part of a national effort with other states to highlight the benefits we receive from our public lands and is partnering with recreation organizations around the state to make this week a success Ambassadors are required to attend a training session on Monday, August 15th at 6:30pm-8:00pm. This training will provide you with the information and practice you will need to be a successful Ambassador. Ambassadors must be capable of hiking over variable terrain, have previous hiking experience, and be comfortable speaking with/in front of strangers.
