One-on-one or Small Group Tutor at Olympic Middle School

Communities In Schools of Auburn is seeking volunteers to tutor 6th-8th grade students one-on-one or in small groups at Olympic Middle School for one hour once a week after school on a day of the volunteer's choice. This opportunity will continue though the school year. Volunteer tutors will be assisting with homework and concept understanding. The subjects studied will be determined by the student's i Interested volunteers will meet with CIS site coordinator to discuss background, interests and goals to find the best student match as well as go over the volunteer handbook. The volunteer will also need to pass a Washington State Patrol background check.
