After School Tutor at Dick Scobee Elementary

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life. We are looking for caring individuals who can make an ongoing commitment throughout the school year for one hour once a week on a day of the volunteer's choice. The Communities in Schools on-site coordinator will be available for assistance as needed. Interested volunteers will meet with CIS site coordinator to discuss background, interests and goals to find the best student match as well as go over the volunteer handbook. The volunteer will also need to pass a Washington State Patrol background check.
