The Head Start Policy Council is a group of parents, community volunteers and staff that comprise the governing body of the organization. Each month, they meet to review program operations, enrollment and attendance reports, and progress of children's school readiness. They are responsible for approving/disapproving many things, such as the budget, hiring of staff and policies. This position will a Training will be provided. Volunteers must sign confidentiality agreements and undergo a background check. Some administrative skills would be helpful
