Volunteers Needed!
Join the King Conservation District and the Green Seattle Partnership to help restore habitat along Longfellow creek in West Seattle. Longfellow creek is one of only four salmon streams in Seattle. Come join our ongoing efforts to replace invasive ivy and blackberry with native trees and shrubs.
Requirements: There are no requirements to volunteer with us. King CD staff will supply all the training, gloves and tools necessary for the volunteer event.
When: One Saturday every month
Where: Brandon Street Natural Area, West Seattle, WA
Who: Everyone is welcome! If you are under 14 years old, please have a parent/guardian or chaperone over 18 years old join your group. If you are between 14-18 years old, bring a youth liability waiver with you to the event.
