Help fight hunger with Northwest Harvest at the 16th Annual KING5 Home Team Harvest event on Saturday, December 3! Our largest food drive of the year, Home Team Harvest takes place in three counties at seven locations and KING5 shoots live from all the sites. This year's goal: 5 million meals!
Hundreds of volunteers help make this event a success, and a VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT is needed to help our team at the NORTHGATE MALL on Saturday, December 3 from 6:30am to 12:30pm.
Duties include:
- Helping sign volunteers in and out
- Checking out buckets and signs to volunteers
- Checking on volunteers to motivate and encourage them
- Taking photos and chatting with donors
Great customer service skills necessary. Volunteer Assistants should be 18 or older. This event is outside, rain or shine.

All volunteers must be registered ahead of time. No drop in volunteering for this event. Northwest Harvest can sign off on service hours for work or school purposes, but cannot provide court-related community service.

Northwest Harvest is Washington’s own statewide hunger relief agency. Donations from this event help support Northwest Harvest's network of more than 375 food banks, meal programs, and high need schools. Last year, we provided over 33 million pounds of food to this network.
