We need thousands of toys, our little toyshop opens Monday 12/19, so all presents would need to be dropped of with us by 12/18 at the 23rd & Jackson location.
The toy shop is used for families that don’t get adopted, or move in after the adopt a family program is over. So not knowing who’s in need, we stock and need toys from Birth to 19, boys, and girls, all interests, all kinds. We need gift cards for teens (they get neglected often) movie tickets, mcdonalds, etc.
Clothes, coats, jewelry, movies, music, books anything you can think of, we can use!!
The toys need to be unwrapped, so the families and case managers can see what they are shopping for!
You take it from here, let me know you want to commit, and if you have a toy goal!
For example, you could say- I am going to host at my work, the first week in Dec. and I have a goal of 100 toys.
We also need volunteer elves for the toy shop for the follwing shifts:
- 12/18: 10-2 and 2-4
- 12/19: 10-2, 12-4, and 2-6
- 12/20: 8-12, and 11:30-4
- 12/21: 8-12 and 11:30-4
- 12/22: 8-12
