YWCA Family Village Issaquah is located in the Issaquah Highlands, and this community integrates permanent, affordable housing with services for the entire community.
We are seeking volunteers to help celebrate the coming of winter with our staff and families! Our Winter Jamboree will help promote community at an event where families can learn about upcoming events and classes that are coming to Family Village Issaquah.
Volunteers will assist in a variety of roles, including:
- decorating the community space
- setting up tables
- prepping food and serving meals
- leading games and activities at different stations and booths
- assisting staff with childcare
- helping staff as needed to ensure smooth coordination of the event
- cleaning up after the event
Requirements:
- Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer (at least 13 years old if accompanied by a parents or guardian).
- All volunteers age 18 and older must clear a criminal history check (conducted by Volunteer Services). Volunteers will be sent necessary paperwork after signing up.
- All volunteers might complete and sign an Informed Consent & Release of Liability form.
- Must be available on December 22nd from 4-7pm
Volunteers are encouraged to wear festive, holiday attire! Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
