Alleycat Acres and the Common Acre are partnering to establish a pollinator habitat meadow and native food educational trail along South Bangor street in Rainier Beach. We are working with Seattle City Light to pilot this unique restoration project along the transmission corridor stretching to the Duwamish River.
Join us for the first phase of restoration: sheet mulching. We will be laying down cardboard and wood chips to suppress weeds and help prepare the soil for planting.
