Description of Duties: Seattle Audubon's Junior Naturalist program provides leadership opportunities at Nature Camp for high school teens entering 10th-12th grade. This position is ideal for teens interested in nature, science, birds, being outdoors, or working with children. Junior Naturalists work closely with staff Naturalists, helping supervise campers, lead games and songs, read stories, and lead at least one group activity per week. Junior Naturalists work a minimum of two full weeks of the summer, but may sign up for additional weeks. A half-day orientation and training is required prior to the first week of camp on June 23rd. We also offer paid internships for teens entering 11th or 12th grade.
