Join the Green Kirkland Partnership and fellow park lovers in planting native trees and shrubs, removing invasive plants and caring for newly planted native trees and shrubs at Juanita Beach Park. No experience is necessary and we encourage volunteers of all ages to join us! This event will be led by a volunteer Green Kirkland Steward.
What to Bring: Please dress for the weather (layers are encouraged and rain gear is a must most times of year!), wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a filled water bottle and snacks to munch on. Tools and training will be provided.
Parking is available in the parking lot.
Where to meet: The volunteer event will begin by the bridge to the natural area. This bridge is located west of the parking lot (when you enter the park drive to the end of the parking lot and you will see the registration area).
- We meet near the foot bridge at the west end of the parking lot--look for the Green Kirkland Partnership signs.
Getting there: Use address 9703 NE Juanita Dr, Kirkland, WA 98034 to navigate to the park
Youth Volunteering: Volunteers age 14-17 attending the event without a parent or guardian must bring a waiver signed by a parent or guardian to the event with them. Download the Green Kirkland Youth Volunteer Waiver. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
