On Comcast Cares Day El Centro de la Raza will be the cornerstone of a neighborhood-wide project in the historic Seattle community of Beacon Hill! Projects will include street-side business district beautification such as exterior painting, window washing, landscaping, signage updates, planter box construction, & pressure-washing. To encourage activities for all ages and especially the families that utilize the on-site bilingual preschool, we'll create arts & crafts projects to prepare El Centro for its upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebrations, and we'll also look to build a computer station/lab on different floors of the housing development. Come join us in making a difference in this community!
