For many low-income families, the summer months are particularly stressful and thousands of kids aren't getting the food and nutrition they need. In King County, 100,000 low-income children and teenagers rely on free or discounted meals during the school year, but less than 20% access free meals during the summer. That's why United Way of King County is committed to serving more meals than ever before and we need your help!
Every Tuesday and Thursday, United Way is hosting a Field Day at a Summer Meals -Food Invasion site located in King County. These are super fun days packed with educational activities, games, and plenty of food. At this June 29th Field Day, we need Amazon volunteers to help run our activity booths and make sure kids want to come back day after day!
