The “winter rose” – also called the “Christmas rose” or “snow rose” – is known for blooming during the darkest days of winter in the mountains of Central Europe. Our holiday concert celebrates the light and hope symbolized by the winter rose with such favorites as Lo, how a rose e’er blooming by Praetorius and A spotless rose by Herbert Howells.
By ushering, running box office, distributing tickets or helping with one of many other tasks necessary to concert production, you will have the opportunity to help Seattle Pro Musica to create a wonderful experience for concertgoers and musicians alike. Additionally, every volunteer will have the opportunity to hear (almost) the entire concert. Volunteers are asked to arrive early (1:45pm for a 3:00pm concert, 6:15pm for a 7:30pm concert) and to stay a few minutes after to help clear up. More information to come!
