Restore the Duwamish Shoreline and Help Save the Salmon!

Calendar Happens On Feb 21, 2018
Time 2pm - 5pm
Expired

Description

Spend a lovely afternoon along the Duwamish River spreading sheet mulch, clearing invasive weeds and preparing the land for planting in fall. We’ll have a great view of an osprey nest and some occasional otter and bunny sightings while we work next to the river. Come on out to get your hands dirty, give back to your environment, and help restore the Duwamish shoreline!

Please come prepared with weather appropriate clothes, close toed shoes and a water bottle. All ages and abilities are welcome. We’ll provide the gloves, tools and training!

Volunteers under the age of 18 should bring a signed youth waiver with them to the event.

For questions call 206-905-6909.
