Are you a good communicator who enjoys helping others? We have the perfect opportunity for you to support our mission to create and enhance opportunities for independence and self-sufficiency for people who are blind, Deaf-Blind, and blind with other disabilities.
We are currently looking for individuals interested in being trained as a sighted guide. As a sighted guide you will help empower people who are blind by providing visual information and assisting individuals navigate around events and meetings held both at Lighthouse for the Blind and throughout the Seattle community.
Our next sighted guide training is scheduled from 1:30 -3:00 p.m. on August 15, but we are always seeking dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers to participate in the program.
