Description

CitySoil Farm is a 1.5-acre demonstration farm located at the King County Wastewater Treatment Plant in Renton. CitySoil Farm, once an unused area of the treatment plant’s grounds, has been transformed into a teaching farm and native tree nursery that showcases sustainable farming and accessible, local food. We need volunteers to help us clear the invasive species that are always trying to take over the farm so we can continue growing food for local food banks and raising native trees to give away. You’ll get to learn about this amazing project, how to remove multiple invasive species, and even get to pick some food to take home!
