Description

Join us for Day of Caring on Sept 14th to set up Lake Union Village, a tiny house village for people experiencing homelessness. Activities will include painting, furnishing, carpentry and flooring of tiny houses, landscaping, cleaning and beautification.

Please wear comfortable clothing, including sturdy closed toe shoes. Light breakfast, coffee, water, and a hearty lunch will be provided. Gloves, eye, and ear protection will be provided as well. Dress for the elements and wear clothes you are willing to get paint and dirt on.

Once Lake Union Village opens, this will be the tenth tiny house village in Seattle to provide shelter, safety, and community for people experiencing homelessness. A Case Manager will help residents obtain housing, employment, health care, treatment, education and other services.
