Help us create community green space and pollinator habitat under the power lines in the Duwamish River Valley. Preparing for our grand opening event 9/15, we hope you can join us for hands on learning about pollinator conservation and habitat restoration!
The Greenline is a partnership between The Common Acre, Alleycat Acres, and Seattle City Light. This restoration project works to increase pollinator habitat, create interactive green space, and grow native berries for our neighborhood. We've studied bees, built soil, removed invasive species, and last year we did our first plantings. This year we need your help with some farm upkeep of mulching and soil building.
Join us for a fun evening of community work and learn about what it takes to restore urban spaces for pollinator habitat. Come as you are, all ages and abilities are welcome. We'll provide all the tools and gloves, and bring along some delicious snacks and beverages. Family friendly!
