Hi everybody!
This is Venus Aoki for Allyship, we are having our first Pride Dine Out Event on September 12th @Three different locations in Seattle, Due Cucina Italiana Capitol Hill, Molly Moon Ice Cream Capitol Hill and Columbia City,& El Quetzal Beacon Hill, we are looking for Super Volunteers who wants to help us spreading the word also we ask to join in solidarity at one of the participant restaurants.
The main duties are:
1. Show up representing Allyship and the LGBTQ community
2. Invite your Friends
3. Have fun and enjoy a healthy meal and dessert.
What is Pride Dine OUT and how you can support LGBTQ workers in Seattle:
Pride Dine OUT is a collaboration with LGBTQ Allyship and leading Seattle restaurants, bars and cafes who have taken the Talk Gender to Me pledge. It is a one night event on September 12th where the LGBTQ and allied community come out, celebrate and support Seattle restaurants who are LGBTQ affirming. Our three participating restaurants are Molly Moons (Capitol Hill and Columbia City), Due’ Cucina Italiana (Capitol Hill) and El Quetzal (Beacon Hill).
This event is part of our Justice Works Program. A program educating and empowering LGBTQ marginalized workers in Seattle, King County and statewide. Restaurants taking the Talk Gender to Me pledge have had their staff and managers complete a comprehensive training around gender considerate language, workers’ rights and protection against ICE raids.
How to become an volunteer of Pride Dine OUT:
By becoming a volunteer, we ask you to help us spread the word by posting 3 times on your social media and spread the word inviting your network. We also ask for to join us on September 12th. In return, Allyship will include you in all of our press, social media, website and newsletters.
