When: Sat, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Where: Oxbow Farm (STAFF ENTRANCE), 10819 Carnation Duvall Rd NE, Carnation, WA 98014

Join Stewardship Partners and Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center for a day of fish and wildlife habitat restoration! Today we’ll maintain our Alder Grove buffer by removing invasive plants such as Himalayan blackberry and planting some native trees & shrubs. Light refreshments (coffee, water, and snacks), tools, gloves, and an overview of the work we are doing are provided. We’ll also educate volunteers about Oxbow and Stewardship Partners. Bring a snack if you would like, as well as a full water bottle and a coffee cup or travel mug for refreshments.

After the event volunteers are encouraged to join Oxbow in celebrating their Oxtober Pumpkin Festival. There will be live music, food trucks, hay rides, a farm stand, and, of course, pumpkins! Fun for the whole family!

Dogs are not allowed on the farm.

Directions: We will be meeting by the Staff Entrance gate. The Staff Entrance is located off of Hwy 203 and the parking is located on the left just after driving through the green gate. If you use a mapping application to navigate here, it may direct you to our Public Entrance, located just north our Staff Entrance, so just make your way south from there.
