This project will focus on providing economic opportunities for low income African Immigrants from Liberia and African Americans in the Kent area. This will be a two our workshop to involve an African mortgage lender and an African American financial specialist in the education of immigrants and on saving, budgeting, improving credit scores and home ownership.
We need volunteers to support the event by helping with set-up, distributing materials, serving food, and cleaning up. Help us provide participants with the tools and skills needed to make decisions to improve their economic power.
