GeekGirlCon, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is currently seeking new members to join our Board of Directors.
How You Can Help
The next several years promise to be exciting for GeekGirlCon. We are looking for enterprising board members to play a central role in implementing the mission, as we look to the future.
The primary responsibility of board directors is to steer the overall policy and direction of GeekGirlCon in accordance with our mission and values. A big part of this work involves active engagement on one of our board committees such as Fundraising, Board Development, or Strategic Planning. The primary day-to-day operations are delegated overseen by the board of directors and supported by the volunteer staff as we continue our search for an Executive Director.
We are a governing board and expect the board to be active and dynamic.
