POSITION SUMMARY
Assist with data and inventory management, distribution channel outreach and/or provide support for marketing and design objectives

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education and Experience:
Required:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Flexible schedule based on project objectives (8 hours per month, M-F 10 to 4)
- Ability to interact with a variety of people.
- Respect of diverse lifestyles, cultures, religions, and values
Preferred:
- Previous volunteer experience
- Experience in non-profit setting
- Bi-lingual a plus but not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to take directions
- Ability to respect and maintain confidential information
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Dependable, responsible, and punctual
- Recognizes limitations and asks for help when unsure
- Awareness of cultural competency; sensitivity in working with diverse culture
ORIENTATION & TRAINING
New Volunteers will maintain in compliance with Refugee Artisan Initiative and program-specific standards in regard to competencies, safety and confidentiality.
- Review and follow Refugee Artisan Initiative policies and guidelines
- Respect and maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, staff, and other volunteers
- Maintain regular communication with assigned program supervisor
