POSITION SUMMARY
Assist with research, outreach, identification and development of new product lines, vendors and other marketing opportunities to benefit Refugee Artisan Initiative growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES (may vary depending on role)
- Research and outreach to potential designers/markets that may benefit from small batch sewing production
- Strive to remain compassionate, non-judgmental, flexible, and impartial when assisting people that have lifestyles, spiritual beliefs, and interests that are different from your own.
- Work with RAI team to pair unique needs for role to meet organizational objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education and Experience:
Required:
- Marketing or business experience
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Flexible schedule based on project objectives (8-12 hours per month)
- Ability to interact with a variety of people.
- Respect of diverse lifestyles, cultures, religions, and values
Preferred:
- Own transportation

- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions

ORIENTATION & TRAINING
New Volunteers will maintain in compliance with Refugee Artisan Initiative and program-specific standards in regard to competencies, safety and confidentiality.
- Background check required
- Review and follow Refugee Artisan Initiative policies and guidelines
- Respect and maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, staff, and other volunteers
- Maintain regular communication with assigned program supervisor
