About
Debuts & Discoveries is tasting event at Hangar 30 in Magnuson Park on Saturday, March 16th from 5–8 PM hosted by the University Sunrise Rotary Club and Seattle Uncorked that will be benefiting Outdoors for All this year! Volunteers will be able to attend and enjoy the event at no cost either prior or after their shift.
Volunteer Information
Shifts: Saturday, March 16th (various start and end times)
Location: Magnuson Park Hangar 30 (Google Maps)
Who: Open to any volunteers who are 21 years or older and who want to support raising funds for Outdoors for All.
Register: Review the information below, and then please register with United Way in addition to going to our website, then our Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities page, and register for the event (you can also see which roles are filled and sign up for a specific shift as listed below).
Volunteer Roles
Event Day Set-Up Crew, Shift Time: 11 AM–1 PM
10 productive volunteers to help us with event set up. Must be okay with lifting heavy materials, such as tents, boxes, etc.
Food Trucks & Fire Exits, Shift 1: 3–5 PM, OR Shift 2: 5–7 PM, OR Shift 3: 7–9 PM
6 responsible volunteers (2 per shift) to act as the on-site food truck liaisons in addition to help monitor the fire exits. Shift 1 will also help with set up, and Shift 3 will help with event clean up
Event Logisitics, Shift 1: 4:30–6:30 PM, OR Shift 2: 6:15–8:15 PM
4 awesome volunteers (2 per shift) for general "catch all" assistance with the night of event logistics
Registration, Shift 1: 4–6 PM, OR Shift 2: 5:50–7:30 PM
10 organized volunteers (5 per shift) to run registration for attendees. Shift two will help wrap up registration.
Charity Info Stations, Shift 1: 4–6:15 PM, OR Shift 2: 6:00–8:30 PM
12 engaging volunteers (6 per shift) to station at an activity/table to speak with attendees about Outdoors for All (volunteers who are familiar with our organization are great for this role)
Greeters, Shift 1: 5–6:30 PM, OR Shift 2: 6–7:30 PM
8 smiling volunteers (4 per shift) to welcome attendees to the event and check for stamps
Cashiers/Banking, Shift Time: 6–8:30 PM
4 accountable volunteers to serve as cashiers for the evening
Clean Up Crew, Shift Time: 8–9:45 PM
10 enthusiastic volunteers who want to enjoy the event all night long and then help clean up and break down event
