Help Outdoors for All at our 22nd annual winter fundraiser, SPREEFEST, on Saturday, March 9th from 9AM–4PM at Alpental/The Summit at Snoqualmie! As a volunteer you will receive an all-day lift ticket to the Summit, continental breakfast, lunch by Red Robin, enjoy the beer garden (21+ only), try out the race course, enter to win raffles AND have the opportunity to demo 2020 gear from industry reps!

Register: Review the information below, register on United Way, and then go to our website, our Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities page, and also register under SPREEFEST 2019. (You can see which shifts are still open and sign up for specific shift). 

Volunteer Roles 

Event Day Set-Up Crew, Shift Time: 6:30–9:30 AM 
4 productive early birds (16+) to help us with event set up around the lodge. Must be okay with lifting heavy materials, such as tents, boxes, etc.

Volunteer Liaison, Shift 1: 6:30–9:30 AM, OR Shift 2: 9:20 AM–12:30 PM, OR Shift 3: 12:20–3:30 PM
3 friendly volunteer liaisons (21+) (1 per shift) to work with our Volunteer Coordinator to help with volunteer registration, assignments, and coordinating event volunteers. 

Race Course Set Up Crew, Shift Time: 7:30–11:30 AM
8 race course set-up crew (14+) to assist with the construction of rails, fencing, start/finish line, and timing. Volunteers must be physically capable of loading equipment and intermediate on skis/snowboards.

Super Runners, Shift 1: 7:30 AM–10:30 AM, OR Shift 2: 2:00–5:00 PM
10 mobile runners (21+) (5 for Shift 1, 5 for Shift 2) to help transport gear and supplies for demo reps, staff, the band, etc. Shift 2 will also help with event breakdown/clean up. 

Breakfast Crew, Shift Time: 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
2 morning bird volunteers (16+) to welcome attendees and help set up and serve breakfast.

Registration, Shift 1: 7:30 AM–11:30 PM, OR Shift 2: 10:30 AM–2:30 PM
11 organized volunteers (18+) (7 shift 1, 4 shift 2) to run registration (collecting forms, donations, distributing t-shirts, etc).

Raffle Ticket Sales, Shift 1: 8:30 AM–1:00 PM, OR Shift 2: 12:30–5:00 PM
8 persuasive volunteers (21+) (4 for Shift 1, 4 for Shift 2) to sell raffle tickets to attendees. Shift 2 volunteers will also support with some event break down/clean up until 5 PM. 

Race Course Assistants, Shift Time: 9:30 AM–2:30 PM
5 responsible volunteers (18+) to run race course operations: keep and report time, track leaders, and help break down the course.  Volunteers must be comfortable being outside for extended periods and intermediate on skis/snowboards.

Beer Garden & Clean Up Crew, Shift Time: 1:00–5:00 PM
7 volunteers (21+) to help in our beer garden to check IDs, give wrist bracelets, manage the boundaries, keep the garden clean, and help with event break down and clean up.
