Snoqualmie’s beautiful Snoqualmie Ridge neighborhood is characterized by the many pockets of forests and natural areas. These forested areas provide beauty, keep the city cool, provide habitat, and reduce wind and flooding, among many other benefits. Join us at the Cottonwood Forest to ensure that these forests stay healthy. Volunteers will be caring for recently planted trees and shrubs and removing nonnative weeds that threaten to establish and take over these natural areas.
What to bring: Come dressed to work outside (rain or shine) with sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Snacks, tools, and work gloves provided.
