Celebrate Earth Day with a work party at the Washington Park Arboretum!
Volunteers will work in groups across the entire Arboretum completing projects like weeding, removing invasive species, clearing brush or mulching. We have a work site near the starting location for families with young kids to enjoy.
WHEN: 9am at Crabapple Meadow - Volunteers will arrive in the meadow and be met with snacks and coffee generously donated by Starbucks and Caffe Ladro. There will be snack bars at the work sites for a break, donated by Clif Bar.
* At 1pm volunteer will return to the Meadow where there will be some light food provided for our hard working volunteers to sit or wander the Arboretum with a sandwich.
