Help deep clean and paint the FareStart Restaurant Kitchen so that it matches the beautifully remodeled restaurant space.Volunteers will deep clean the kitchen and then paint it!
The FareStart Restaurant is where Adult Culinary students practice and perfect their food service skills by serving around 200 lunches per day to the Seattle community. This volunteer opportunity will ensure that their learning space is clean and up-to-date and that our kitchen space matches the beautifully refreshed restaurant space.
Attire: Please wear comfortable/flat, closed toed, shoes and long pants. This will potentially be a messy project so make sure to wear clothing that you are comfortable getting dirty and getting paint on!
This opportunity is open to young professionals in their 20s and 30s as part of our Emerging Leaders program.
