Join us for our annual "Put the Garden to bed" fall stewardship event! This family-friendly event will include light weeding and mulching to get our garden plants and beds ready for the winter rains, final "snack walks" and harvests from our food garden, and more. Come for an hour, or for the whole event!
Garden gloves and garden tools (kid-size and adult-size) will be provided for all volunteers, along with refreshments.
This event qualifies as service-learning for middle school, high school, or college students too! All youth ages 15 and under are welcome to attend with a parent or adult guardian, and though children of all ages are welcome to participate, we do have a policy of only providing garden tools for children who are of elementary school-age and above.
