Join Tilth Alliance's newest community educator to spruce up our Community Learning Garden in Wallingford! The Community Learning Garden at the Good Shepherd Center has been enjoying the stillness of winter, but that doesn't mean it has been inactive. There is plenty of weeding to do, pathways to be mulched, and other cool-season maintenance.
Join us the Friday before MLK Day for a day of service in the Community Learning Garden. The Garden is located behind the Good Shepherd Center, between the Meridian School auditorium and the park, Meridian Playground. We will meet at the green house
Children over age 10 are welcome to help if supervised by an adult. All tools and gloves are provided. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle and feel free to bring a lunch or snack to enjoy in the garden or the park after. We look forward to seeing you then!
